I camped once on top of the cliffs and that was a great experience. But don’t forget that rain and fog can show up in summer (I had both) and that temperatures can be very low in winter.

I remember that we’ve visited asir region in 2010 with couple of colleges during the summer season. we had a BBQ right next to Al-moshebah hills, a lovely and quite natural place. if i have the chance to visit saudi again, i will definitely visit Alsoudah and Al-moshebah hills for camping.
