In reply to <a href="https://stage.saudiarabiatourismguide.com/jebel-fayfa/#comment-2005">Noel</a>.

Hello Noel,
I know some people went in the area recently and they had no problem but indeed Fayfa is close to Yemen and bomb shelling happened in the past weeks that killed some civilians.
If you want to see beautiful mountains that are further away from Yemen I'd advise you to go to Jebel Sheda in Al-Bahah Province
Best,
Florent

Hello Florent (and Makki and Andy)! I'm planning to visit Jabal Fayfa this year. Perhaps during the Eid or Hajj break. However, I saw an earlier article in The Arab Weekly about armed men guarding the area. Is it okay to visit this place alone? Will I be alowed to photograph? I love seeking lush mountains here in the Kingdom after my visit to Jabal Sawda in Abha last year.
